Excuse my ignorance. With a Stocks and shares isa can you still invest in the gia up to £12.300 aswell as. Without having to declare your tax. Or am i over thinking it

That’s correct.
You can invest whatever you want though. The 12.300 is only for tax free gains, not the sum you can invest.
