Also had to click on view whole message in gmail to get the HTML to render.
The email from Capdesk worked ok for me.
The missing extract in your email was the content to Adam’s previous post.
Mine looked ok too?
Yep, no issues with mine at all - structure was perfectly normal.
I haven’t received any email
EDIT: I got it this morning
The problem is that the image is being embedded into the email body itself. Would be better to hotlink it in the future. The email works for me in iOS Mail but is borked in the Gmail web client.
Just received the email few seconds ago, the message is displayed correctly on my end
I think there is length issue, if one scrolls to the bottom and clicsks “view entire message” it renders fine. Do not send giant letters with a giant frame of all the things I guess.
Mine looks like this too
Could you consider sharing what email client you are using, and what device? This information, if shared with Capdesk, could help them fix this problem for future emails
In the first part of the email, Adam gives you the link to opt in to further progress updates, which we are sending out at least bi-weekly at this point. This has been highly requested and has huge open rates, but not each and every investor has seen the opt-in link yet. The email you received is not relevant to GDPR - it’s shareholder communications. I hope this clarifies the misunderstanding.
Sorry about that formatting! Some email clients don’t deal with Capdesk emails well, so we plan to re-send the email with all the information.
Please note Adam’s email goes well into the details, but they are part of a regulated crowdfunding offering and they are only for you, as a Freetrade shareholder, and you must not post it anywhere (I know you didn’t, just to emphasize for everyone).
We will only be able to maintain this radical transparency with our shareholders if they help us do that. Which they have so far, every year.
We will re-send it, so you have a proper version that works in all email clients.
We like Capdesk to administer your shareholding in a professional way, but man it is not a mailing software. Apologies for that.
Brilliant, thanks. It’s a wise decision, especially considering the less tech-savvy folks who might otherwise have missed out.
