They don’t have the capability yet, they’re working on it.

I’ve bought in to AMC, I love the enthusiasm and hype around it too, but what worries me is that the shorters will be able to long play this and over time somehow manage to slowly reduce those shorts and so there won’t be a massive squeeze after all.
If/when it does squeeze, I can’t see it going to $x00,000, people will cash out before then and the squeeze will lose steam. Those who bought in at sub $8 are already set to make a hell of a profit … I genuinely don’t believe that enough people will have the stones to hold long enough for it to reach its full potential.
I hope I’m wrong, that £25k sell limit in FT will be a nice problem to have

Could this happen today ??

The probability that it could happen is 100%.
As to the probability that it will happen, who knows.
If I say it’d be less than 100%, I’ll be branded a hater, so you can judge it for yourself.

That’s why call options are important and why a lot of focus is on tomorrow with a lot of them running in the money. Enough in the money could cause a gamma squeeze which in turn runs the price up which will put even more pressure on the hedgys.

They have a limit they don’t want it to go over hence why they hit it hard when we get near $60. Remember they don’t have unlimited money they are running out and everyday they hold onto shorts they are getting hit with interest. They are running out of time especially with new DTCC rules coming in tightening the noose.

Yeah that’s a good price point I think

I cant see it myself based upon pre sales position and early market trading

It’s hit 60 at least twice, £72 Is it’s highest.

Simple fact, APES own 80% of shares and are not selling, the shares that hedges borrowed to short are now costing them millions a day, at some point they will have to buy them back and when they do the price will rocket, not for long but it will happen it’s certain.

I can’t see it getting to $500k like the movement wants but $200-$300 is :100: possible and very very likely.

Just HODL HODL :gorilla::gorilla: :gem::pray:

I got few of my shares at 9£ and and some more at 42£ dip so I’m still holding. No matter how hard it crashes I won’t lose. At the same time I wish I have sold at 60, have a nice profit and be done with it all! There are so many better stocks to buy in right now.

My overall reasoning was joining the movement I felt sympathetic with, I was not really looking for the profit. I wouldn’t mind make £££ of course, but in this particular case it was just fun to be a part of a bigger quite unusual picture.

But now I feel it’s turning into some sort of mean cult. Every time it goes up or down it’s impossible to find any clues of what’s happening as you’d have to dig through hype, hate and insults. Not fun any more, and very immature.

Newbie question… how do we know the APES are not selling? I keep seeing chat forums saying they are buying more and more so surely also the 80% figure would rise and eventually APES would own every share available from those still selling on the market. At that point what would then happen if there were no more shares to buy?

I wonder that myself, and yet there are millions still being traded?
