Crowdfunding round seven, Wed 24th Nov 2021 šŸŽ‰

The 10am email was from ā€œViktor from Freetradeā€ but the address it came from was marketing@freetrade.io.

At the bottom of the email it states " You received this email because you opted into getting updates from us. If you want to manage what types of updates you get, [tap here to opt in or out of emails]

If you’d like us to stop emailing you updates entirely, [tap here]"

Assuming that no one has ever adjusted their settings or unsubscribed from Freetrade’s constant over communication then yeah, everyone should have got the email at 10am.

However I suspect at least a few people, if not hundreds or thousands of people have asked to stop receiving Freetrade spam and so would not have got sent the link.

I got the email for early access. Unfortunately was very busy at work and didn’t manage to invest in time.

Ā£9.25 seems a fair price, good value for where :freetrade: is at, with lots of room to grow

I have 6,727 shares and wanted to hit 7,000

Ah well. Have registered interest in case any is left after EU crowdfunding ends.

@freetrade, please make us all rich by 2030. Thanks

A lot can happen in a decade. But the FT team has delivered the goods so far.

New rewards added  Just now:

Exclusive new rewards

As part of the ongoing raise, we’re excited to announce some brand new rewards:

  • Ā£1k: Get access to our limited private beta launch in upcoming country launches. Available if you are resident there.
  • Ā£5k: Get paid premium services, like tax-wrapped accounts, in upcoming country launches, for free, for a year. Available if you are resident there.
  • Ā£10k: Our paid premium services, like tax-wrapped accounts, for free, forever. And everything from the previous tiers.

These rewards are in addition to the existing rewards on offer, which include exclusive access to Freetrade’s first NFT. Yes, we just went ā€˜ooh’ too.

Thanks to everyone for your ongoing support, and welcome all new investors to the Freetrade investor community.

Anyone know what the purpose is of the G Shares in the latest Memorandum and Articles uploaded to Companies House? For the crowdfund its B2 investment shares so perhaps for a new VC round?

Rookie question here, and I’m sure its been posted somewhere on this forum, but I invested in the Aug 2019 round. I do I get one of those little investor badges on my avatar?

Thanks

is this in the UK To ?

What do the new rewards mean for UK investors who already pay for plus, so their ISA is already free. Or are these incentives just for new EU investors?

Yes I think it includes the UK too

@FHeys, Aug 2019 would mean Round 5. I’d send Freetrade an email. You could also check similar posts on the R6 thread (for next steps): Investor Rewards R6 - #331 by Pier80

If anyone missed out on the UK allocation and is looking to purchase - i am selling a portion of my holdings from early investment into Freetrade. Circa 10,000 shares for sale at todays share price with no carry implications from Crowdcube. Send me a message.

Don’t think it’s the case for UK investors too unfortunately.
It refers to upcoming country launches.

Aren’t these for employee share options? G - Growth shares?

Apparently there is no carry on crowdcube share anyway as Freetrade was and existing business before their fees changed.

Hefty. Will they come with an NFT?

Nope, 5% will apply to this round

Yes, 1k & 5k mention for new country launches. Though I think that 10k reward might inc UK. Maybe Plus for life… it’s been done before.

Anyone know how the Crowdcube nominee would work with a Freetrade IPO?

If your shares are on the Freetrade share register (from earlier rounds) then this seems straight forward, but what of those shares held by Crowdcube directly?

Guys @adam @Viktor @Freetrade_Team , I believe it is important and respectful for investors to make this situation clear, since for many this 5% carry fee (in addition to the 1,5% investment fee) may mean giving up on acquiring or not more shares.

It really needs a proper clarification.
