Freetrade Baggers - Stocks you think will double in 2021

TSLA: I am a huge believe in Elon Musk (track record with Zip2 and Paypal?!!). With the assumption that robotaxis will happen, I see Tesla easily as 10k stock within 5-7 years. And this year deliveries growth will probably exceed 50%, so assuming constant price/sales ratio and given the Biden stimulus & clean energy roadmap i think Tesla could reach 1500USD+ this year.

ETSY: The projected growth of this company YoY looks amazing (non mask sales this year skyrocketed comfortbaly). And still it is only 25B market cap still (shopify is > 100B). CEO’s past track record with Skype?! Total addressable market is huge

SQUARE: Cash app. Assuming bitcoin will go to 150k this year, i see square getting a huge lift up by the end of this year.

ARB: Same reasons to Square

IPOE: Chamath Palihapitiya, ecommerce

@Rollingskies Thanks for this - great thread!

I’ve been starting to look at the Crypto miners, so I’m intrigued by you mentioning ARB. Why do you like them as opposed to the other options?

IPOE (SoFi) - 25% jump last Friday after Chamath did the rounds on TV interviews sticking up for the retail investor. Fundamentals sound combined with his popularity puts them in good stead. Tipped to take big market share in the US Fintech space.

Also like the look of Etsy, Square, Blackberry and Tesla.

Some interesting ideas here.

One of mine is IRR Ironridge Resources, small cap on AIM. Several good mining prospects but the big juicy ones are Ewoyaa in Ghana for high purity lithium, and Zaranou in CĆ“te d’Ivoire for gold.

Major share holders include Assore Limited and Sumitomo Corporation.

The CEO Vincent Mascolo has major skin in here too, which is a positive tick for me.

Would be interesting to set up a portfolio of stocks from this thread and track throughout the year

EUA - when they eventually complete their formal sale process, 2x would be very cheap!

POW - Diverse portfolio, great CEO, actively drilling 3+ sites this year.

CGNR - Already has 500K OZ AU, could rise to 8M+ if they enter JV with AAZ.

CWR - Great tech, well managed, green stocks will continue to do well in my opinion.

APPN - High customer retention, increasing revenues, great tech. Became profitable last year.

TILS - Formulab.

My ideas:

  1. Jumia: this is basically the Nigerian Amazon, and it’s spreading quickly around Africa. This is an early play as internet is spreading there as well. Nigeria is one the biggest countries in the world, most of its population is youth and if they change their behaviours (like the rest of the world did - and buy online) this may be massive…I am sure you when where Amazon share price is. Africa has 1bn population…
  2. Pacific biosciences: top innovative laboratory for 3rd generation DNA sequences (also in ARK Investments portfolios).
  3. Ilika: small UK solid lithium battery producer (different than the normal liquid lithium stuff). They are quite small and base their business on customised products rather than mass production.

PS: Argo Blockchain it’s trading at 440 P/E ratio even after that 35% drop…what expected growth can justify this ratio!? I like growth stocks, but everything has a threshold. I like the NIO suggestions though.

KEFI Gold & Copper - potential multi bagger through this year.
Jubilee Metals - potential to double (again), but a lot less volatile.

DYOR, but it should be worth the effort.

Keysight Technologies: KEYS

5g, 6g, Quantum.
Services & solutions.

Perfectly placed company. This one went under the radar during the 1st half of 2020 then the market realised in September the value.

DYOR.

NIO, 1 year ago $3, 6 months ago $11, now over $55, $200 by the end of the year.
(disclaimer, i have no idea what i am talking about)

I’m going with an underdog with hard challenges ahead

AMGO Amigo Holdings Plc

Edit 1: They might go under next month. They need their plans to be approved by the FCA, which is not a good place to be if you ask me.

My approach in real life doesn’t necessarily match my approach in this thread.

I may be the first casualty in this thread if their plans are not approved by the FCA.

This is not investment advice.

DYOR

Edit 2: This post is now the result of two posts merged together. The second one is now deleted, but its contents can be read in this merged post.

Escape Hunt — Micro cap in offline (and recently online) entertainment (escape rooms, pretty fun, used it myself). Almost profitable
Trackwise Designs — small cap printed circuits, partnerships with EVs. Profitable.
Ilika — small cap solid state batteries play
Limelight Networks — small cap CDN and EDGE provider trading at 2 price to sales. Massively undervalued with some decent catalysts. Almost profitable.
Tattoed Chef — hyper growth vegeterian / vegan food play

Honorable mentions: Workhorse, Palantir, Tesla, BFT, CIIC Arrival

p.s. I am invested in most of it.

Do you really see Nio at 200-300b?
The fact that it’s mostly a pure automotive play and mostly just China makes me think that it would be a bit too much. Not in a year anyway. It still might get carried by hype but idk.

KIST - Kistos, a closed ended investment company looking at M&A in the energy sector. Aiming to close their first acquisition on Q1 this year so hopefully announcements soon. Unfortunately not on Freetrade at present but have requested it.
