There will be more details closer to the time and when it goes live

It says “(starts 12pm, 25th April)” and yet on the sidebar it says " Date And Time Tue, 23 April 2019 19:00 – 22:00 BST".

I hope attendees won’t get an advanced queue position for the fundraising round or anything, as not everyone lives close to London.
One date is the crowdfunding and the other is the event
Unless the event venue is the royal Albert hall I doubt there would be enough people for that to have any point
Albert hall confirmed
I also agree with point 2. If it was closer to Bristol I’d travel even a few hours for it. London is just too much/too expensive though for one event
This meetup will take place a few days before the raise on Crowdcube. The raise itself will go live on 25th April at 12 PM, and we thought it would be nice to have an event before that, to talk about our plans and answer any questions.
Definitely not! Everyone will have equal access to invest. I’d also be surprised if we didn’t livestream it on Instagram.
sorry my bad, i didn’t read it properly!
Just to clarify, is 12pm 25th April the date when priority access goes live to existing investors/customers?
Or is it going to be public from the outset?
@adam previously indicated there would be an exclusive period for Freetraders. The initial £1m is bound to go in the blink of an eye regardless
Hey Theo, we’ll update you with the details as soon as we finalised everything!
One question. Will they be EIS qualifying? I need to sell funds from my ISA to cash in. However, if they are not qualifying I will have to reduce what I invest. I need 8 days out from the date to make sure I have funds to transfer so I can’t wait until say 2 days or whenever before to get funds ready in time.
Normally funds complete 7 days or so after the close of the fundraising round. I’d expect freetrade to raise very quickly but the time to close and collect funds will depend on how freetrade will be raising and through which platform, if not their own…
Edit: its 7 days not 3
My funds are on HL. It takes up to 3 working days to sell them and another 3 working days for them to make the cash available. Shambles.
I think 3 days is the usual time frame to complete the transactions when you place your orders.
The 3 days to get you the cash though I absolutely hate
I’m with HL for a few things too but have been selling down for a while now to move money in to freetrade, free up cash for the next raise and the biggie (which might not leave alot for anything else) prepare for buying a new house lol. Hate how long property transactions take…
We’ll share more details about EIS as we get closer to the start of the crowdfunding.
It’s worth remembering though that you’ll only be pledging to invest a certain amount on the day & then Crowdcube will ask you to make the payment at least 7 days later. Since we’re going live on the 25th, that should mean that a lot of people won’t need to pay until after their payday. And it’ll also give you some more time to free up your funds Ben.
You are keeping tight lipped!
Sigh. I guess I’ll miss this round as Crowdcube suspended my account.
I’m nosey, why did they do that?
Off-topic but for those who are interested;
TL;DR: Don’t make Crowdcube hate you.
I’d be asking a family member
