@Bonkers1864, These guys, @hrochfor1 and @finki, are trying to help you and others understand this stuff. Freetrade have a best execution policy to protect you. Please be aware that you are extremely unlikely to have positive returns day trading over the long term. The CFD platforms have to state how many of their customers lose money, typically itâs around 80%. In general, investing should not be exciting, Buffet got to be Buffet by reading hundreds of pages of reports, every day, not trading every day. As @engineer would say, it is the speed of your connection vs the high speed computers and algorithms of the big companies computers. I wish you luck either way

Itâs the same for the whole shares v fractional shares debate. I think there should be a place where issues like this that have been answered can be âpinnedâ so as to avoid rehashing the same subjects over and over?
