Freetrade SIPP - Missing tax relief payments

Am I the only one still waiting for missing Tax relief payments in my SIPP.

The scheme administrator is apparently having issues with HMRC in getting the payments.

I have payments due from deposits paid over 15 weeks ago.

same. there was an email.

maybe they ran out of money?? :grimacing:

Nope. I’m now missing the last 2 months’ payments. I’ve had to pause auto investing because of the shortfall. Zero visibility on when the situation will be rectified.

I’m waiting for mine too.

Just checked. I did recieve tax relief in July. Just August is missing.

If you’re waiting for your SIPP tax relief payment(s) from your recent SIPP contribution(s), we’re just reaching out to let you know that HMRC are currently facing delays in paying out pension providers tax relief claims this month.

We would usually expect this payment on the 21st of the month, and Freetrade would always aim to credit your account the amount by the following working day.* *Freetrade are aware of the situation and are working hard with our scheme administrator in escalating this directly with HMRC.

Please note this is an issue affecting multiple providers, and is not localised to just the Freetrade SIPP.

We will keep you updated as and when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.

I’m facing the same issue with missing tax relief payments in my SIPP. It’s been frustrating waiting for over 15 weeks, and it seems the delay might be due to issues between the scheme administrator and HMRC. Have you received any updates? Sometimes contacting HMRC directly or escalating the issue with the administrator can help. As we wait for this to be sorted out, let’s remember the patience and perseverance highlighted in Surah Al-Kahf. I hope things are resolved for us soon!

It’s now 16 days late, I don’t understand how anything can take that long in these modern digital times

HMRC sucks that is why.

I bet there would be a different story if I was 16 days late with my SATR

We should get interest on this.
