What would be the basis for this sort of action? There isn’t one imo. The difference in payout results from the different share classes issues in what I believe were the downrounds which were raised in urgency-poor execution by Adam, perhaps very poor but not a legal matter imo
After all they’ve been through to get the current position and sell for that price is unbelievable.
Does anyone know about EIS protection
Wait, does that mean no IPO in 2025!?
So if you invested after June 2019, you have made a loss.
Genuine question: can we claim any relief?
Do you mean about loss reclaim fom HMRC or is it about some protections for small Investors.
Wow that’s a low share price
Do your own research etc. but anyone with EIS shares and a loss should be able to offset the loss against your income tax.
Maybe a D&O claim… long shot I know but not impossible. It’s egregious
wow Pure rip off… Legal Actions!
This deal makes no sense.
Why are they selling now? As pretty much all metrics are going in the right direction and they are starting to get leverage they decide to sell at terrible valuation.
Must be something else behind the sale. Either they don’t want run the company anymore and do something else or they are forecasting some bad events going forward and wanted to protect themselves.
Luckily I didn’t invest too much, but feel quite agitated how the management lost the mark on this one.
I feel absolutely devastated about this. I first invested in 2019 and almost 6 years later my £10,000 investment is worth 6000 shares at approximately £7000
ABSOLUTE “CEE U NEXT TUESDAY”
and just to clarify @Adam new fine well that this was going down
What kind of actions? These guys never leave it chance. I will try speaking with FCA or citizen advice.
This is kind of nice to know about, although as a basic rate tax payer (who’s currently out of a job due to redundancy) this likely isn’t going to help much, but still better than nothing.
D&O claim for breach of fiduciary duty, possibly
My personal opinion is execs are fatigued and though company turned profitable they felt they were facing a pretty tough slow grind forward. Viktor has done a good job operationally in his short tenure, he should have been installed much earlier, but he’s capped it with a poor sale.
All opinion and speculation.

Maybe move here when this thread unsurprisingly gets moderated
They never had the engineering talent to fully compete but this is poor. Now they’ll have to keep looking over their shoulder for Brian . Early morning hotel visits might feel a little more risky now guys
Invested in 3 rounds since 2019 and coming away with a substantial loss. How is this possible? Seems we’ve been ripped off
This is hilarious, can’t wait to read his input on the sale, truly distinctive writing style that shines through regardless of the alias.
