Think there will be a fair few brokers in a pickle at the end of the month trying to deliver shares.
Will be disappointed if Freetrade don’t make this happen, would definitely get in touch with FCA for a failure to deliver the stock dividend.

So GameStop officially announced a 4:1 stock dividend end of the month.
Could we have confirmation from a Freetrade rep that we will be getting this dividend and in a timely manner?

Stock splits happen regularly, eg. Amazon earlier this year, Nvidia the year before.

Just this so far, will get some more clarification when they reply again -
**I believe the announcement was in relation to a stock split, not a share dividend.
We are aware of this and will be proceeding with the stock split as this is a mandatory event. 
Once everything has been approved and the terms confirmed, we will send a notification to all shareholders detailing the event. For now, you aren’t required to take any action.

Do I need to be a Freetrade Plus member to receive the split? I have GME but just went back down to the £3.00 per month whilst nothing was happening. Do I need to upgrade again? Thanks!
No, as long as you own the shares, whether you are plus or not doesn’t matter

I thought you did have to be a Plus member to hold GME with Freetrade but maybe not. Maybe you just have to be Plus in order to buy GME shares.
All ‘holders of record’ are entitled to the dividend, though. It will be up to Freetrade to ensure that every share you bought in good faith gets three new shares alongside it on the distribution date.
