yeah all the drilling they were doing was to make 100% sure that there was in fact no gold there at all!

Maybe the announcement tonight is already been incorporated with the current increase in share price (from 0.12 to 0.14.5)?
Hopefully not because I am buying GGB from when it was 0.03, with an average price per share just shy of 0.07.
I was wondering the same thing. Is the price increase this week hype or people in the know.

Even if this Newcrest news tonight is not as good as hoped (doubt it), there’s still the scallywag site (100% GGP owned) where drilling is starting in 4 weeks so if that is positive, there would still be plenty of upside to come.

I think the price has quite often risen in the lead up to news but not really done much after. Just stayed steady after good news.
I’m hoping for more good news and an increase in price but I’ll not be disappointed if stays roughly where it’s at for now.

Expect the SP to keep moving up in the morning. The latest drill results are in and it’s further fantastic news with high grade gold and copper mineralisation deposits located. Havieron appears to have doubled in size.

It’s another great update that’s for sure. In my calculations that makes the share price ~30p. Higher if you use today’s gold price.
Need now the maiden resource assessment etc to really get a tight valuation
