Greatland Gold - GGP - Share Chat

Doing it’s normal dip after as some people take profits from news. Pretty exciting the new breccia zone

What else Gold wise do people Hold? That’s less risky than this

Physical gold imo - and take delivery.

As predicted we had the usual sell off.

The only logic I can think of is that it’s traders loading up incase we get the maiden resource estimate and then selling again when it doesn’t land.

Regardless, really good results which could see GGP work towards a long term valuation not too far off £1. Will just have to wait a while longer before price picks up

Yep we can’t forget the run up from 11 to 15 was basically because we were expecting good news, I mean it’s the 9th drill and the previous 8 were ‘outstanding’. I think it might be a slower creep upwards over the next few weeks. Still not selling!

A long long way.

To clarify I don’t think the price will change much until they give the MRE and/or positive drilling at Scallywag.

75-90p is my long term target/takeover price.

I seem to remember that the Maiden Resource Estimate is expected by the end of the year, can anyone confirm?

Yes, H2 2020. Gervaise confirmed that’s still the plan

They’re also starting the environmental studies etc to shorten the time to commence decline according to the RNS

Remember that they will revise the MRE probably every quarter after it is made.

Just catching up on the week’s comments. Seemingly we have some peeps on here who are new investors to this stock and unrealistic as to its movements. Be aware this is a slow and steady rise and always has been since my investment. It’s never going to be a ‘fast buck’ stock, currently, whichever way you look at it. The real long term investors know this. If you want to trade this stock, do so at your peril. It has a pattern of rising into news and then consolidating - it’s normal, which is what’s happening now.

Please, no more exorbitant figures from those with unrealistic views. It’s laughable!

Hi, I wasn’t going to do one for this drill results, just wait for next one. Wasn’t sure there’d be a demand for one as it’s only been a month since last one. I do think it is a fascinating period for the company. I’m intrigued what happens next.

At moment, I’m revisiting Jubilee metals and starting to look at hummingbird + goldstone resources as well as some non mining stuff in background

Makes sense, looking like the updates will be much more regular once they’re reporting on Scally too.
Have you considered looking into ECR Minerals? Gold explorer, currently exploring in Victoria, Australia - same region that Kirkland Lake made a great discovery.

So are you saying £2 a share is where it’s heading in the next 3 months? :eyes:

I haven’t had chance. Seen name floating on fintwit a bit. Day job get in the way of getting through the research I want. What stage are they at now?

I’m thinking of slowly growing my investment here and also buying the physical gold shares from the mint, get a couple of shares a month with them and what ever is left over but GG shares with them. Would love to have over a 1000 of these bad boys, ready for the end of the year
