Based on this mornings news update, Telfer could be good for another 10 years. Plenty of time to get Havieron up and running
Telfer gold resource - 3.2M Oz
Initial mine plan production - 374,000 Oz over 15 months
Gold mine life - 3.2m / (374,000 / 1.25 years) = 10.7 years

HAV pushed back to 2028 seems to have been swapped up with all the positive news that Telfer has longer life for mining. Couple of beastly purchases at end of day also. Wish I could add a much larger amount for long term, but tied up elsewhere for now.
I think now there is plenty of gold production left at telfer the fact hav is going to take a bit longer isnt a pressing issue. If the telfer gold covers the capex for the other mine and it takes longer rather than borrowing money or more shares added so be it in my book.

Gold hit a new all time high! Ggp keeps ticking up
The shares in my gia did touch being up 100% earlier they have slipped back a bit since.

120% up on this, hopefully it’s a sign of things to come, but don’t be discouraged if it drops, it’s al in the long game for this one ?
