Higher order limits now live 🎉

From today, customers can place orders of up to £100,000 in one go.

This applies to all order types in all currencies we offer: market orders, limit orders, buy, sell, GBP, USD, EUR - you name it!

Happy investing!

When you invest, your capital is at risk. The value of your investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.

Could you please add £100,000 to my account so I can test this? Thank you.

Are any trades on LSE subject to the PTM levy?

exactly what I was thinking. They must do if the new limit order applies to everything as suggested.

Congratulations guys! :clinking_glasses:

If you place a trade, you’ll notice in the receipt that there is no PTM levy deducted. Freetrade is covering this levy at least initially. We may start to pass this on to customers in the future, however, for the moment it’s going to be covered by us!

The apes will presumably still be worried that this is too low once GME reaches £∞

That’s great news! The just under 10k limit was frustrating.

100%. When I transferred my SIPP it was a real pain breaking the orders up, what a problem to have eh!

Yes and let’s make sure everyone knows what a problem it was!!

Thank you for this feature. Not having this was one of the major negatives for me with Freetrade.

Also thank you for covering the PTM levy, however I feel that this should be passed on to us as it is us doing the trades.

Never a penny! @Viktor gave a free hoodie though.

It’s where I’ve rolled up all of my old pensions, was cheaper for me to have a SIPP here than with Vanguard which given I only really invest in Vanguard funds it’s not really a big deal.

Amazing - is this a result of the last survey? Would like to understand the rough cost to Freetrade on this?

Nevermind I googled - so it’s £1 per trade over 10k… this is super.

This is brilliant news - it was holding me back from transferring another ISA to Freetrade. Thank you for listening!

This is awesome :sunglasses: Great steps forward :rocket:
