This week, we’ve enabled a new limit of £25,000 on US orders for all customers.
It has been made possible thanks to our Invest by Freetrade platform, which has enabled us to make many other considerable improvements to the investing experience for our customers.
If we see continued demand, we will implement higher trade value limits for UK stocks, too. This will take a bit more engineering work due to the PTM levy.

When you invest, your capital is at risk. The value of your portfolio can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Not surprised US was prioritised due to the 0.9% fee to buy and sell you’re looking at nearly £250 for £25k.
Please prioritise the PTM levy to allow UK stocks over 10k.
Not really sure that’s correct considering it’s very easy to buy 25k worth of stock on Freetrade anyway! This probably saves 2 mins! But happy to see they have done it and look forward to the UK stocks being included. Nice work FT.
Any view on when the limit increase for UK stocks (PTM levy) will be introduced please?
Yes, well aware that one can buy shares in multiple batches but this could mean additional £££ during volatile trading sessions as seen during recent times.
Ok if buying and holding long time not so much if for frequent traders.
