How will Brexit affect your portfolio building and buying of new stocks? 🤔

Brexit has been confirmed and EU commission has signed off the withdrawal treaty for the 31st of January 2020.

What are people’s thoughts on buying UK stocks and building up a portfolio now? Is it a good time to buy more UK stocks for long term capital gains and growth?

It’s the same chance as before. The exit has been incorporated in the market price for ages now.

Completely agree with @SebReitz. Plenty of FTSE 100 & 250 companies are trading at a healthy discount. The fundamentals of these companies haven’t changed and, at least for the time being, it’s ‘business as usual’. It will be interesting to see what changes, if any, UK companies make toward the end of 2020 in reaction to trade deals that are agreed with the EU and other countries.
