IMPORTANT: Why we had to limit the US market on 29th January (not our choice and we engineered a solution)

Is this true and how do we know?

Pissed off with Citadel to be honest and all this bs last week

But you are not forced to sell though. They only stopped you from buying more and actually losing more.

Sorry but this is not a good enough explanation. You are not a bank we all know that. Does this mean you can disable buy button on UK stock when something similar happens in UK? You will loose a lot of customers due to trust deficit

FT don’t even have CFDs so why would they suffer with liquidity issues? If you’ve been reading about Robinhood/Trading212 and think the situation is the same here then you need to be aware that it’s not.

In the time it took you to sign up, write a negative comment and ask for suggestions on other brokers, you could literally have googled the words ‘buy stocks and shares’, and given yourself numerous answers.

Very odd.

The US market doesn’t open till 2.30pm. You can however trade UK stocks now as the market opened at 8am

Are you trying to trade a US stock? If so that market does open until 2.30pm this afternoon.

Hello, I transferred £3,000 onto my account at Freetrade and I am yet to see it in my account? I transferred the money on Friday. I get you’re busy but could someone please respond to my in chat communications? I have messaged quite a few of you now. My money has left my bank and now I am concerned I have lost the £3,000

What does it look like when you click on a UK stock? It should look like the below:

Have you just joined, and if so, have your funds cleared and are available? Or do you have free cash if not new and trying to buy?

OK. I’m running out of ideas. Which stock is it, or is it all stocks?

My app was acting funky like that last week.
I logged out & back in and it was all fine after.
Have you tried that?

Believe me, FreeTrade already have a loyal long term investor base. We don’t care about short term swings or issues. Rome wasn’t built in a day. FreeTrade’s loyal users that contribute to its success are here for the long haul. We may occasionally bring up the odd issue, but we know our funds are safe with this fully regulated broker.

Maybe uninstall and reinstall the app (sorry for the basic suggestion in case you already tried this) and if this does not resolve ping the customer service so they can look into this as it does not seem to be a general issue.

They are swamped just now, it’s unlikely you’ll get a quick response from them. The logging out/rebooting idea is probably the best thing to try for now.

You mentioned your money is transferred already , can you double check if you see that money under ‘Available to invest, under Account tab ?

On my phone I have to scroll down a bit to see buy and sell buttons. Sorry if you already tried this.

Deposits can take a couple of hours. At this time delays might a bit longer
