It’s almost like this isnt a stock forum where you cannot discuss the movement of stocks
this is different though as its an ETF. the whole purpose really is too hold for a long time. Buy more when its cheap. The only reason to sell is if you think it is poorly managed. You shouldn’t be expecting anywhere near the levels this has risen to as an ETF is diversified which spreads the risk but also spreads the possible gains.
Would you still buy even if the current price is double what you paid?
I do. I have been investing in INRG along with some other ETFs every month for a while now so have bought at £4.30, and have bought at £12.
Will continue to buy every month regardless of price.
Exactly what I’ve been doing over the past couple of years. Just wish I had some more cash to throw at it currently whilst it’s dipping.
I wish I’d thrown in more cash when it was below £5!
I’m an investor, not a day trader. It’s not looking back at past performance that matters, it’s looking ahead to what may happen over the course of five, ten years or more.
Dropping so sharply, I’m wondering how low it will go until it settles. £10? £5?
Almost at -30% in the past month, so I’m getting the impression lots will be selling off on this one now.
Bubbles burst so its going to actual value not hyped value
That’s no good for my gains! Hah. I actually haven’t put much into it, but even so.
The prices of the holdings were very high relative to earnings and have been steadily correcting. A strong economic recovery should drive these stocks higher again or as soon as any incentives are given to the clean energy industry by Sleepy Joe.
That’s one of Trump’s daft insults that never really stuck. I’m surprised to see someone using it on a forum for a UK trading platform. Sad.

I think it was more of just a joke and also a comment about us wanting to see some green.
Is anybody here selling because of the sharp decline?
No
…
No, this is the biggest in my portfolio, I’m new and shitting it but I’m going to HODL.
Why would I sell when I can buy more?
Has the reason you bought the investment changed? If it hasn’t why would you sell?
For this allocation it was between adding to my Draper Esprit and buying INRG…went with the latter. Not ideal but still need some exposure to green energy so I am holding right now, even though it doesn’t half drag the portfolio down…
I also want to hold as it’s my favourite fund but I wish I knew why it’s gone down so much lately. I’ve tried looking it up but the only article I found says it’s because of the blackouts due to bad whether in America but that doesn’t really make sense. Maybe it’s actually correcting itself (like J4ipod94 said)and will only go lower?
