It provides a cheaper and more diversified alternative to the iShares Global Clean Energy UCITS ETF.
The new ETF comes in both a distributing (IE00BLRB0028) and accumulative (IE00BLRB0242) version. It’s listed in US dollars (GCLE LN) and pound sterling (GCLX LN) and comes with an expense ratio of 0.60%.
The fund tracks the WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index and currently holds 117 stocks (as opposed to only 30 in iShares’ ETF)
