Any thoughts on Platinum investment? Do you hold this ETC?

Iā€™ve just been watching this ETC, @MZain . It doesnā€™t seem to be performing very well from what I can see.

Look at Sylvania Platinum (I hold) which is a low-cost producer of platinum group metals (platinum, palladium and rhodium)

SP looks cheap with respect to:

  • Market cap is Ā£285m
  • Annual profit up 130%
  • Cash balance end of next year estimated to be > $200m which is not too far from the market cap!

*risks around the price of platinum group metals. However, PGMs play a key role in the ā€œgreenā€ future so itā€™s unlikely prices will stay subdued to too long.

Thanks for the thought, @thinking_hydrogen. SP is an AIM company stock only available on the FT Plus account and not an ETC.
