Hi there! Just wanted to jump into this forum about ITM! I bought it when the price was around 5.50 and just keep buying and holding when I see dips. I believe this is a long term stock as everyone has said before, hydrogen and clean energy in general is the way forward for the future. I mean just look at Shell who is willing to change their directions to clean energy (strategy day announcement on the 11th), so must mean something! Anyways I know there has been highs and now this week it’s going down a bit, but I agree with @Invester87, people are probably just taking some profits while they can. However for me this is a long term hold, what are peoples thoughts on this?
Yes I totally agree. I bought my first shares on a whim at 1.78. But only got serious when I did some real research and went in big around 5.30 ish. I can see this paying off in the long run. But its not just about money either. ITM will change the face of the planet. In 5 years people will be jumping in at a premium. All of this will be worth it. people who got in under £1 and hodl will be very well off.
Green hydrogen is important for human race next steps. And ITM is the key
That is a good buy definitely! Yes I was the same, I read more into about the company and that sector (clean energy) and decided to go with ITM for the most part. I also believe people are starting to take an interest in this sector, but it has not yet blown up and like you said, people will soon realise that and by then they will be buying in at a higher price.
But yes correctly highlighted, it is definitely overall about climate change and helping our future generations. So I will always stand by anything that can reduce our carbon footprint!
Agreed I think there is good future in this company, interesting article the other day - Green Hydrogen Plant in Saudi Desert Aims to Amp Up Clean Power - WSJ
610 a good entry point? Would appreciate fair value discussion which I can’t get my tiny head around. Thank you.
I think so yeah, I kept waiting and waiting yesterday for it to drop lower… hopefully another dip today!
You’re getting your wish. Lol. I bought another batch in th dip. In the long run I can’t but see it being my best investment
Yep!
Here is a more recent webinar with itm CEO and some other players in green hydrogen. Petty interesting figures

Hi. To a newbie with not much experience what does this mean for me. I have done my research and put 25% of my total savings into this stock. I am down 10% but am here for a long time… Should I buy more ? Thanks
Don’t rush into anything, that’s quite a large amount anyway, I rarely put more than 5-10% of my portfolio into one stock. If you think its undervalued right now then go for it but it did double in three months, I don’t think it will be a short term winner (long term hopefully).
If you are new look around, put small amounts in different markets and stocks and see what you like, or maybe the Global Clean Energy ETF or similar, same industry but your returns will be more predictable.
People are right when they say don’t put all your money in one stock but if you believe in a company for the long term and you get a big dip then you are basically getting a discount. Its called dollar cost averageing. DCA. do your own research. Dont over extend. This is not financial advice
All of my hydrogen related stocks seem to be down today.
I also invested last week on a whim, wish I hadn’t it’s down 20% now
I’m sure it’ll recover and now’s a great time to reduce averages if funds allow (not financial advice…), but between this and CWR I’m seeing an almost vertical line so far today (the wrong way).
Agreed - I wish I got paid this week, I would have thrown a load more in if so! Great buying opportunity for the longer term investors.
I’ll wait for it to go down a bit more, it’s still up +230% since this time last year.
20% down on this. Hoping for a recovery in the next 5 years
All my green energy stocks are all down by 5-30%. So many reds on the portfolio lol
Yh I see no news but its red across the board on green energy and a lot of other things
