@bitflip is right, there are often lots of bits you can learn from reading the literature they produce for investors there.
If youâre just after dividends then Dividendmax letâs you set reminders for 10a limited amount of stocks for free. I wouldnât pay for anything as Freetrade have this feature on their radar.
I wonder if the outage of internet and mobile banking today will cause a price drop tomorrow. A lot of annoyed people and Lloyds being useless at communicating.
Iâd be surprised if it did have any impact on market sentiment. Youâd be surprised at how often there are outages like that occur across the sector
I havenât got mine yet either. Also bt was due yesterday and havenât got that one either yet. But they always come through so Iâm not worried as no idea what Iâm going to invest it in at the moment.
Freetrade have acknowledged dividends are taking longer than they would like to be paid at the moment - they advise between 5 and 10 working days (depending where you contact them) that they will be received in.
From recent experience, expect to receive any UK dividends a couple days after pay date and US probably about a week.
FT did appear to have an issue last LBG dividend, but letâs hope for today or tomorrow to see your cash arrive.
Thanks for that itâs really helpful. Mine always turn up and Iâm never in too much of a rush thankfully. But always nice to know whatâs going on.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
They all add up believe it or not I had 1 once now I have 1181 roughly just in green in share price wanted more but will have to wait for a dip now and to have spare funds
Very true @Lenny they do build up in no time, if you are planning to keep them like me then I reinvest the dividend to buy more shares, which turns into more dividends in the long run to build a higher income over time.
If buying to achieve a better profit through share growth wait for another dip before topping up your current position
Happy thatâs itâs increase in share price so Iâm currently in green by 2% but itâs mainly for dividends now have a good amount of shares will be good div payer if they donât cut it?
If drops badly like pandemic maybe a good buying opportunity
