Next always seem to be able to buck the trend and seem to be in a much better situation than most of their competitors.
Snapping up 44% of the baby the retailer, they have not announced any job cuts. The remaining 56% will be owned by finance firms - Next must have been brought in to boost the supply chain & distribution.
Does anyone know how the shareholder discount works with Free trade? According to Next’s shareholder website, anyone who holds at least 100 shares on the 1st April will receive a one time discount to be used in store.
How will this work if I hold the shares via Free trade? Will they receive the voucher and then pass it on to me, or is there something I need to inform someone about?
