Hello all we have had a nice rise in the past few days meaning I’m sat on a nice little profit, only 5% but not bad for a months work.
The question is do I sell them and then buy more GSF or keep and hold for a bit longer?
QuotedData interview with manager of NESF.
Don’t watch today as there was constant breakdowns in the connections.
QuotedData said they will tidy up the recording by tomorrow (12th April)
70p per share happy days
Something doesn’t seem right here. The buybacks stopped abruptly on 1st May and no dividend declared for this quarter?
Have I missed something?
Maybe just afew days early declaration was 13th feb so maybe get news on or around 13th may. Maybe stoppedthe buy backs as interest rates are going down which helps sp rise??
I’m sure that’s the reason. I missed out on the last dividend so hoping for a big payout this one.
As long as the company is financially stable that’s fine by me
Good stuff NESF have announced the dividend this morning. I had a Quick Look at the update, all in all the results weren’t bad really. Their average cost of debt is 4.9%, and 94% of their revenue is pretty much guaranteed (from what I could understand anyway).
The dividend target for 2026 is the same as last year but with a current yield of 12% ish that’s more than enough for me.
Still about £9.5 million worth of buy back to go.
We have had a welcome 2p rise in the Share price this morning. Apparently NESF have rejected a takeover but from Foresight Solar fund. I can’t find any information on the cash offered.
I have an equal holding in NESF, BSIF and FSFL now, can see consolidation within the sector in the near term, seen a nice rise in these over the last week, still adding.
FGEN and UKW other notable mentions I hold
So were getting some rivals buying each other out! Good for the sectors sp hurah
Think it was meant more as merger. Foresight haven’t got the money. Would have been an all share deal.
I suspect a merger with Bluefield would make a better option for NESF.
Bluefield has smaller dividend but greater cover. So less likely to cut the dividend and is reinvesting.
Morning all. I have had a look at the results today and it seems Nav is down gross asset value is down and revenue is down, yet the share price has gone up?
Maybe I missed something?
Oh results are out! Share prices are alot to do with sentiment. Maybe the street was expecting worse?
Indeed. By my reckoning we still have 9 million of the buyback pot left, I wonder if this will
Continue?
The presentation should be on investor meet company soon.
