This company operates one of the largest cruise line businesses in the world.
Great stock to have once everything opens up
Is this expected to rise. When everything is open again?
I’m certainly hoping so,if you look at the value of the stock before lockdown there’s a good margin there,I think demand for cruises will be high ,it may take a while to recover but longer term I would expect a steady upturn.
Good news on Q3 results with record forward bookings for 2022. Company is looking to become cash positive and in profit by mid 2022.
I bought in to the cruise business during the peak dip as I am sure they will get back to normal. Considering they were down about 70-80% when I bought I am very hopeful they will give me a nice profit. May sell when they get back to old price though.
I’m up 17% on this now but will hold until next year. If you go on their website there’s loads of available cruises going further into next year. Q1/2 2022 financials should look good.
Any help. I have carnival its up a little and making a profit, currency is in gbp.
But ncl norwegian cruise its in dollars, but in dollars its up 110usd, but if clicking to gbp im down 20gbps.
So is there a ncl in gbp you can buy the stock…and i thought fx fee would be alot lower… if i was american id make profit but in uk still in the red?.
Exchange rate is your answer.
You really need to factor in to foreign stocks when considering investments.
Bought that stock 2 years ago. If carnival is in gbp why isnt ncl. Isnt carnival a foreign stock?
Its the exchange that dictates currency, rather than the country the company is based in or operates in.
LSE: gbp
