I set up a standing order. It worked really badly. There is an issue with the information sent with a standing order, which means FT have to ask for further information from the bank. It took 3 days for my deposit to arrive and lots of chasing via email and in app chat.
I moved back to manual deposits!

I use a monthly standing order and it was only the first one which was slightly delayed. All subsequent ones have been fine.
Tried it once, had to hunt payment down. App chat was very good at looking into it and it was sorted after 2-3 days but I was worried this would happen every month so cancelled and went back to manual. Would personally like a DD option for regular deposits with manual bank transfer for adhoc. That would be me totally covered
