I like Reddit too as a forum but investing in a company that has never made any money wouldn’t be one of my leading options.
Buffett has never been a big fan of IPO’s either.
With a market cap of $24bn this has now blown past many of the ‘contenders’ of Pintrest & Snap.
Is this the peak or basecamp?
As a platform I think Reddit has the best long term prospects out of all of those, but it does seem expensive to me. That said I brought in at a PE or like 150 a few months ago (arguably already insane) and it’s more than doubled since so really who knows
I feel like at least a bit of the rise it is AI hype tbh.
