Hi,
I had 500 shares which I placed for Sale on a Limit Order at £8.35 but only 313 of them sold when the target price was achieved, why is that?
Is it because of no buyers in the market, or at least not a buyer for 500 shares only 313? Is that called Low Volume?
Thanks
I would imagine it’s a low volume issue, yes. The price hitting your target doesn’t mean there’s enough buyers at that price to satisfy the supply of all of those shares available at that price. :freetrade: will do all they can to execute an order, but market forces are of course beyond their control.
This is their detailed policy on execution.

Are these Execution Policy details something that are similar to other platforms, e.g. are they kind of standardised across the board?
