Considering investing more in TM1 but have concerns over the level of remuneration of the board and particularly the CEO (over £200k)in relation to the market cap and cash reserves . Any views ?

You can’t deny its a worry at such an early stage of the project. £200K is a hefty salary. I will be nervous until the merger happens and we get some revenue figures.

Cant believe that the government hasnt put anything in place regarding the storage and transportation. We keep seeing all these news reports of fires due to the battery and nothing changes. Mind boggling when theres products out there that can prevent fire or the spread.

Great to see the good news/share price drop correlation is still going strong ?!? Well I get to top up… average down to 0.0135…

Yep me too (0.0158)

There are lots of rules about transport and storage (and have been for years) but that won’t prevent everything or prevent people putting incompatible wastes in the wrong places.

Top up time is here again

You beat me to it :joy:

So 45% x 3500 per tonne is £157,500 not a bad start i suppose🙂

There’s also the gate fee for taking the batteries in.

So thats 157,510! Then

:rofl::joy::rofl: probably about right

So if they get the production up to 8300 tons a year then that would be £13072500 for the black mass?

Did a quick google search and found this

‘Depending on the battery’s chemistry and its state of charge, Recyclus charges customers up to £8.40 per kilo to receive and recycle their lithium-ion batteries.’

£8.40 per kilo? So £8400 per ton? And they can process 8300 tons a year… so that would be £8400 × 8300? Can’t be right that would be £69 million in gate fees?

I know it says up to £8.40 but even if it was £2 a kilo it would still come to £16 million.

Maybe i’m tired and i’ve missed a decimal point somewhere, the gate fees alone at £2 a kilo come to more than the market cap🙃

I don’t know the market figures for battery waste but £8.4k per tonne seems unlikely or at least on the very high side compared to other wastes (which require much more complicated/expensive treatment). Even more so given that the output has a reasonable value.

I’d be amazed if they manage to keep the gate fee anywhere near that level! In more mature waste recycling markets (for different materials) where the output has a value the gate fee can be as low as zero or even negative (ie you end up paying for feedstock) in some cases as the waste holders know there is value and want their piece of the pie!
