First impressions are of a really slick operation - account created, approved, funded and free share allocated within 15 minutes with a minor query answered via live chat immediately. Very nice app as well. Will be buying some ( non Freetrade available ) shares next week so will be interesting to see how smooth that process is.

Some shares purchased via free instant execution today from the German exchange - I have to say a very impressive experience all in.
However if :freetrade: can get the European markets available and ( critically ) fractional shares no reason why they cannot compete.

Surprised no FTSE All World
I tried Trading 212 as they have shares requiring nationality declarations. Only they wonāt let me buy IAG shares, saying IAG has restricted their shares. But the link they sent me specifically says British people arenāt restricted.
So back to waiting for Freetrade to add them.

Yes, perhaps I should have added the caveat of low to no fees.
Although the link on its own doesnāt clarify whether theyāll accept your order. Thereās nothing on Trading 212 suggesting you canāt buy it, you just get an instant order rejection.
You guys using it should all send feedback asking them to sort out their transaction history. They save the price at the time you clicked ābuyā, not the actual price you paidā¦causing confusion like a missing 10p in my case:

Stamp duty is missing. You should wait till the next day when you receive the contract note. I think the transaction history will then be updated.

You can buy Irish based ETFs on Trading212? How come they are not listed on mine? And what did Trading212 say?
Arenāt all the UK section ones based in Ireland? I assume thatās what the IE is for they just said price changed when buying so transaction doesnāt show true cost
There is no UK stamp duty on ETFs (or AIM stocks).
You wouldnāt want to pay Irish stamp duty by choice, itās double the UK rate!
