Just read the Trading 212 thread. The differences seem to be narrowing between their, and Freetrade’s model, now that they have scrapped commission entirely on trades and launched an ISA.
I am fully confident that the Freetrade product and UX will ultimately be better. Trading 212’s Ts&Cs are opaque around deposit fees etc, and I imagine most of their energy will be focussed on their leveraged CFD business (a service 80% of their investors lose money using). However, given the above, it strikes me that one of Freetrade’s biggest and most attractive points of difference will be fractional shares. Will this functionality launch simultaneously alongside US stocks? Would be nice to have first to market advantage on this.
