Anyone know if this now reports hourly to portfolio balance ? I noticed today my has a upwards even wave line. I’ve not noticed this before.

I think he’s gonna reach the egg first.

I noticed it as well. Up a total of 0.05 for today, but in those small steps exactly like yours. Was surprised as I didn’t think anywhere would have updated prices.

Think mine will end about 50p for the day, which isnt bad considering 1 weeks money is not invested due to last weeks mo auction. I also need to cancel the order to keep the money till I can get it back in the 4 week cycle.

Happy New Year!

Happy days. I will continue to buy more at the current rate.
It would be great to receive the interest as income (like a dividend) instead of it being added onto the balance as it is now.
Not an issue now but as some point I may want to take this as income.

You could theoretically do this by setting up a 99% reinvestment? Or 98% etc. What ever your preference is. Then the 1% etc left over is effectively your dividend?

Unfortunately this doesnt work as a 1% is more than the return.

Maybe in future we will have the option to pick the reinvestment as a number rather than percentage.
In the meantime other than this does anyone know of any ways to get a risk free decent return on cash?
These are emergency funds I can’t afford to risk and I don’t want to lock away for more than 30 days.

T212 is 4.90% risk free in cash ISA.
T212 is 4.90% 99% risk free in investment account, this incorporates MMFs.

ERNS is over 5% trailing yield Ultra short bonds, my funds of choice and 30% of my FT portfolio currently.

I sleep like a baby :joy::rofl:.

Interesting I’ll look into Erns unfortunately I don’t fancy trying a new platform so I’ll miss out on trading 212.

Good point, if only there was an option to reinvest 99.999% :joy:

Hi, have looked at chip? Lock your money away and get 4.59%, paid daily. You can withdraw three times then the interest rate falls.

Hopefully, we will get some useful improvements this year.
