Company referral bonus. LinkedIn basically means we have the same database as recruiters and we can search the same keywords/message them. Hoping to steal a few colleagues when I change companies soon too⦠hoping for around 5 colleagues to refer, others Iām less confident in
Iām trying to check Coinbase earn, however itās saying I need to finish setting up my account before I can start my account is fully set up. Did you experince anything simliar?
I donāt know if this counts but Iāve recently just been referring my friends to Monese to make some extra income.
The referral gives you & a friend Ā£15 when they use the card. Iāve referred 4 so far & earned a quick Ā£60.
Get a £15 welcome gift when you open a Monese account and do the first transaction with the Monese Card. Just use ROHAN773. Download the Monese app here: https://monese.app.link/4jiBLwoWpY?invite=ROHAN773
Thatās odd & no, my account has been set up for a while, so I accessed Coinbase Earn via an email invite.
@rohan.60 thereās now a referral wiki for links so dm @Freetrade_Team to get it posted
Been doing P2P lending for about a year. I now lend through a limited company. I donāt use any of the UK firms though. The rates are way too low and thereās no buyback guarantee on most of them
Itās fantastic for passive income. I plan to snowball it until I can work for myself.
Hi @shane-aurora, what firms do you use? I use Ratesetter both personally and for my business⦠could do with some diversification.
Hi Mike - What has your experience with RateSetter been like? Iāve never done or used P2P lending before but I am interested in it. I understand again there can be risks involved, example being the Lendy fiasco this year. I checked their website quickly and a 3.3% interest rolling investment looks like quite an attractive alternative.
Managed to get it working, thanks for the tip
edit: £42.71 later! I owe you a beer @Diversify
Iāve been invested in P2P since 2014. Have accounts with Ratesetter, Lending Works and Funding Circle. Had a small amount in FundingKnight, before they went into administration.
Ratesetter is probably the one I would rate highest for consistency and performance - their rolling investment is a good one. They offer by no means the highest interest - that would be Funding Circle, but with higher interest, thereās also higher chance of defaults. Despite the defaults, average overall income has been around 6-7% across all my P2P accounts.
I decided (before what happened with Lendy) that I didnāt want to continue with P2P because I couldnāt covert my existing investments into an ISA and because I wasnāt comfortable that my money would not be covered by the FSCS. Iām just slowly withdrawing my cash and to put into Freetrade.

I average 16% across the platforms all loans secured by real estate collateral or buyback guarantee. Buyback guarantee is my favourite either the platform or the loan orginator will pay you back if itās 60 days over unpaid. Sometimes interest for late payments sometimes not. Read the small print
PM me if you want any more details. Happy to provide referral links that we both benefit from too
Hi @Fulforce, Iāve been very pleased with Ratesetter, Iāve been with them for I guess about 4 years, after getting sick of the Cash ISA rates and before taking the leap into investing. My personal cash is in the Rolling Market and I set my ārateā to be 3.8%, so when the loans are repaid, the cash can sit there for a while not earning, but itās usually only a couple of days. You can set it just to pick up the āmarket rateā, which as you say is right now 3.3%. Sometimes I lower the rate, it depends how much cash is sitting there doing nothing. I guess my average rate is currently about 3.5%. You can manage or not, itās really up to you. The āRolling Marketā used to be the 30 day market, but they expected it to loan periods greater than this, the thing about the āRolling Marketā is that you can get at your money relatively quickly, as long as there is someone else to pick up the loans you want to get out of.
My personal cash is in an (Innovative Financial) ISA, thereās no charge for that. Once Freetrade launch ISA Transfers Iāll be moving across some money, but not all.
As I said, Iāve used Business profits as well, these are in the One Year market and I managed to get a rate of 5.4% which Iām cool with. Iām locked in here for the year, unless I pay a fee to get out (0.3% I think) and someone else is willing to pick up the loan. Obviously all this is automated, you donāt really know much detail of who the loan is with.
Ratesetter also have the concept of a āProvision Fundā which is an amount of cash set aside to cover any defaults. To date no one has lost money with Ratesetter, but this is NOT a guarantee.
As I say, Iām pretty pleased with Ratesetter, donāt need to think about it much really, but I wouldnāt put all my eggs in that basket.
Thatās about it I think, anything else youād like to know?
Currently invested with Ratesetter, Lending Works, Zopa, Kuflink. A more recent one that I think has potential is Growth Street, just announced integration with Starling marketplace today.
Same route for me ( from Zopa ). Too many defaults for my liking.
Heard good things about Blend Network and Investly. Tbh post-Brexit if the pound tanks for a bit I might start with investly. Itās invoice factoring. As far as I know, even if the company goes down they have are still liable to pay. I do factoring in my job and thatās the way we have it structured.
No buyback guarantee in the UK market and low rates is what keeps me away. Reminds me a bit of lending club and prosper in the states
Havenāt done any research into them. I donāt invest in the UK P2P market for this reason! hahaā¦I donāt invest in the Irish ones either Europe is way better
Hi all, Iāve just setup my coinbase account there. Does a card/bank account need to be linked in order to earn the cryptos? Any other help users have would be great. Thanks a lot
Edit: Still on waitlist thatās the problem.

Any thoughts on BraveBrowser? Returns any use?
I have researched Investly a little bit as invoice factoring is something that I always wanted to keep an eye on.
Unfortunately their reviews are awful, they do not seem to manage to get a good amount of investment opportunities and thus diversification and overall information and due diligence seem scarce.
They seem responsive though. I hope they settle and grow so I can look at it again in the future with greater confidence.
@Normalmente Thanks for the heads up. I liked their niche in the P2P space I hadnāt done any DD. Approaching Halloween Iāll be looking into more British firms in the hopes of a short-term drop in the pound
