What are people's ideas for side hustles?

You’re welcome to test it for me - your feedback will help me refine it. Just PM me if you’re interested

I’d not heard of that one but after reading some posts on the subreddit, I’m not sure how people are making money (except for referrals) ? Honeygain | Passive Income - Effortlessly

ā€œHow do I maximise my earnings?ā€

  1. Installing and using Honeygain on multiple devices spread throughout multiple networks.

  2. Using one device per IP address as this would be the most optimal way to use the traffic.

  3. Switching to the mobile network connection in order to spread the traffic itself.

  4. Using our referral program. This way you would get 10% of all of your referrals’ earnings!

$28 dollars return a month if you share 300GB of your internet allowance, unless I’m reading it wrong on their website.

No thanks…

free money in the end lol

Depends how you count it. They’re encouraging using your mobile data to maximise your earnings, but if that 300GB went through my mobile data it would cost me Ā£30,000. That’s really not worth earning $28.

Well free money for ppl with unlimited internet XD

Yes, Dead Men are great investors… Or is this a myth spread by the Big ETF companies and brokers to support Buy and Hold so they make more money? Where are the statistics to support this view? Which I also believe but…

Genuinely sold £11.50 for £106 on eBay this week. 10x return. The coin collectors out there are awake and ready to buy money for more money.

Would you mind sharing with the uninitiated what was special about your collection?

I have no idea myself. I had been given a box of coins & they are of no use to me and apparently the commonwealth £2 coins (x4 different ones, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, England) are selling for £40 - £100. Each commonwealth £2 has a different flag on it.

The Isle of Man 50p (old size) sells for Ā£200 - Ā£400… :joy:

And last but not least, the Kew Gardens 50p is currently the rarest and is currently selling for £150 - £750.

I am not one bit a coin collector and this is all I know.

I don’t know if this was mentioned previously but creating a newsletter can be a fun side hustle, if you’re willing to write consistently. And thanks to websites such as ghost.org and substack.com it’s easier than ever to get paid for your content!

I just started mine at supercalifragilistic.substack.com where I do deep dives on new tech products. Feedback welcome!

Ebay/paypal fees are a killer. They take a huge percentage of a sale.

I once wrote a book and published on Amazon. It generally pays me £1 - £3 per month so goes towards my ISA fee (I think Amazon make the most money from this not me).

Interested to know where the Kew Gardens coin is selling for £750? I may be tempted to part with mine for that kind of cash!

eBay’s terrible. It was a pioneer and innovative 15 years ago. Now the site is stale, hard to search, the search results are gamed by commercial sellers and the whole think is clunky. They’re definitely resting on their laurels.

I only put stuff on during the Ā£1 max fees promotions (there’s one on now - they usually rise to the top on the HotUKDeals site) and even then it’s usually for stuff that can be collected and paid for in cash.

I also simultaneously list everything on Gumtree (no fees) and Facebook Marketplace in case any boomers are interested in my junk. It’s now the only thing I use Facebook for other than work.

I’ve heard Alibaba have now added tax to each sale on listings, so gone are the days of ordering a phone case for 0.21p with free delivery. Maybe that’ll dissipate some of the drop shippers flooding the sites.

How do you do this?

Interesting.

I wonder how much I could trade my number for then?

6 X 0’s

Debit Sales Ledger Control Account
Credit VAT
Credit Sales

Wish me luck

If only there was a male equivalent of this, I’d have me a new side hustle :eyes:
