I am creating an Excel spreadsheet to track my Freetrade portfolio. I cannot get the spreadsheet to balance with my Freetrade account. It looks like I am being charged 0.9% for every US stock purchase rather than 0.45%
Am I missing something obvious ???
How is the deduction from my Freetrade balance calculated when I make a US stock purchase ???

I think I may be answering my own question here!! When converting $dollars to $sterling should I be using the Freetrade “FX rate” or the “Base FX rate” ???
The Freetrade fx rate is the base rate with the 0.45% fee included so you should use that rate.
