Who is on your investor Mt. Rushmore?

Mine would be Warren Buffett, Ray Dalio, Jim Simons, John Bogle.

Hononary mentions for Joel Greenblatt, Peter Lynch and Seth Klarman.

Who is on yours? Interested to hear what other people have to say about theirs and hopefully some guys we (me and others) don’t know we can look them up.

Sir John Bogle, Sir Jim Collins, Sir Warren Buffet for his words of wisdom, don’t think they’ll ever be another. Sir Mr Money Mustache. Sir Viktor Freetrade.
I like the chap at Pensioncraft. Some good information.

Warren Buffet, Joseph Carlson and Peter Lynch

Notable shoutouts to Ppcian, Andrei Jikh and Jason Graystone

Adam Neumann, the property magnate.

He has five homes, including one with a guitar-shaped room, all worth US$80 million. He is very rich.

Wow I’d never heard of him.
Thanks for all the articles you share @engineer !
Really enjoy reading through them :ok_hand:t3:

On a serious note, Mike Burry M.D.

Christian Bale played him in The Big Short movie.

His fund, Scion Capital, returned over 400% since early 2000s (inception) until 2008. It was closed after that before opening again.

(source: MSN article he wrote when he was probably still a doctor: http://csinvesting.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Michael-Burry-Case-Studies.pdf)

Here is a collection of letters he wrote at Scion Capital—after leaving the doctor job—until the subprime market crashed (he shorted it with CDS… by creating a CDS market for subprime bonds):

(Found them by googling:

Scion Capital Letters.pdf - Google Drive )

And he is back in the game:
