This is a less expensive version of the Xtrackers ETC previously suggested.
Bumping this as superior to the Xtrackers and a hedged gold ETC is really needed.

Out of interest, why do you want this one?
It’s relatively expensive, with an ongoing charges figure of 0.39% and a indicative spread of 3%, according to HL. That compares to 0.12% and 0.04% for the cheapest option, SGLP.
I may be missing something but I don’t see what warrants paying so much more for PHGP. According to justETF, it’s currency unhedged so you’re not gaining that even.
Other cheaper ETCs are physically backed, have UK tax reporting status, and so on.
If it’s purely for an option other than iShares, why not go with RMAP instead as it’s already on FT?
Anyway, I’m all for a wider choice and it’s just my 2p worth.
