I think Slido worked much better than the forum (until it was spammed). Maybe next time you could try the option where new questions have to be moderated before they show up on the list?

A big takeaway for me was that they are becoming less and less dependant on other services, meaning the more the make in house, the less comprimises they have to make (eg not being able to ship something becasuse a dependancy wonāt support it)

They mentioned theyāre working on a number of āsurprise and delightā mini features to improve the app.
A data science lead has been hired fairy recently and that optimising the Discover tab using machine learning will be the most likely place to start. They may be adding to the data science team.
They mentioned their strategy of hiring a lower number of higher quality engineers as opposed having a very large team was paying off and their cloud strategy was proving to be cost effective as they scale.

Iām looking forward to seeing the impact of the Data Scientist - the discover tab could be so much more, this could be a really significant step up in capability. (They did mention it will be for internal purposes initially so this may be a longish wait but stillā¦ 
)

What happened with this - did the meeting not happen in the end? I couldnāt find any link anywhere to view last night?
The link is only there on the night and not recorded at the moment
The meeting took place last Thursday, 30th April. It was a good event, with over 100 participants. Hopefully they will continue to do more and maybe evolve them somewhat over time.
