Would you also like to refund for a pharma company you bought but then the drug didn’t pass the trials? I mean, it’s not your fault that the regulations stopped it from rising, right?

My point is — You do realise how regulated industries work, right?
Also I think the idea that this is some moral 2 way fight against Wall Street is quite misleading, most of the retail investors were just looking to make some quick money and probably weren’t too bothered if they were profiting from big firms or other retail investors. Also a lot of Wall Street is designed to profit from volume so they’d have also lost out, albeit not drastically, from the broker outages.
