The risk is, if a deal does not go through then the share price will likely retreat back to its ~ £8 level that it was at last week before any takeover speculation was announced.
It could possibly even fall slightly further as a lot of people who have been buying this week cut and run. So potentially a 33-40% downside from today’s level if a deal does not go ahead.
Does anyone else find it interesting how public the Blue Prism has been over the fact that two rival companies have been considering a takeover bid? To me that seems to run the risk of shares being bid up in anticipation to the point that a takeover no longer becomes attractive to a PE firm, or am I getting that wrong?
Sale agreed at £11.25 per share. Shares still trading above that price now. Will become a subsidiary of TIBCO, another company already owned by the private equity group, Vista Equity Partners.
Is this actually a done deal or an offer that needs share holder approval. The shares are currently trading higher than the offer - could there be another bidder?
Really seems too low to me, is there anything that we can realistically do here? Do we actually get the ability to vote on the deal at least if our shares are held on Freetrade?
According to the RNS 23% of existing major shareholders have given consent to the bid - including founder members, BOD’s, Jupiter Funds and Lead Edge Capital.
It’s puzzling me why the share price isn’t dropping back to 11:25 - any other bidder has to show themselves by 5pm is that all that all the market is waiting on?
I had a brief flashing message today that my few shares are bought out and thy have credited me at certain rate, but cannot find the entry yet on my activity tab and the message cannot be traced
Can anyone reply here what the buy out price is?
