Card factory was nose diving long before covid

I can’t see it in this instance (I do have a small holding in CARD). They have been eclipsed by others such as MOON and other online retailers and the bricks and mortar ball and chain does them no favours. There’s been a fairly seismic shift in the ‘high street’ in recent years further accelerated by covid.

Surprisingly Card Factory are planning to add 100 more high street stores and at 55p ic rates them a hold today. Seems to me likely that both financial success and investor sentiment depend more on them making better progress online.
As a final bit of research I checked out their website and thought it was missing a trick or two. For example search for plastic free and you get only plastic items, search environmental and get no results, search eco gets you a bible printed on recycled paper only… for that reason I am out.
