CHANGE THE APP BACK NOW!

Mine has been down today and yesterday but I can’t see any obvious losses
Technical support are getting in touch with me
As the simple maths I’ve asked about doesn’t seem to be simply solved :man_facepalming:t2:

@freetrade you really need to buck up!
Simply and stupid errors…

Only joking!
Although if they want to give me compensation because of Israel’s attack on Iran I wouldn’t refuse.

This new look is making my current thoughts on ditching FT and going to T212 somewhat easier.

Change it back.

Agreed, it really is that bad!

As someone who normally isn’t bothered about UI, even I’m appalled! That font is awful and the character spacing is weird. it makes it hard to read at a glance.

I too don’t like the new design. I absolutely loved the previous design and found it so pleasing. And then I opened today to this! Please change it back :frowning:
Also my ā€˜see all’ button doesn’t work on the main page. It won’t show my watchlist anymore.

If you tap outside of the text, the see all works!

Well I just got a notification on the ā€œfresh new lookā€ - so this isn’t the result of the recent system issues (they were probably caused by this change)

I am just about to migrate to T212, this is woeful.

But if you transfer your ISA you still be only to put 20k in (if haven’t put anything in already)?

And any shares in red you’d lose them aswell would you :man_facepalming:t2:

See how they do it after tax year starts…

I found that on mine aswell you virtually have to press the discover button as low down as can on ā€œsee allā€ and a few times :+1:t2:

We just need to keep mithering them and maybe do a vote page I’m not so tech savvy so not sure how it’s done tbh

Why would it matter if the stocks are in red if it’s an ISA transfer, as the asset is transferable regardless of it is in profit or not.

I agree with everyone else.

The design looks like something a 12 year old would have done on his Commodore 64 in the 1980’s for a school project.

It looks highly unprofessional, and for the very first time I’m thinking of going elsewhere with my money.

What I mean is let’s say I’m Ā£200 down in Lloyds
With 2000 shares! I’m only gonna receive that value of it currently and would get that stock transferred would I?

If you have 2000 shares then it will transfer 2000 shares no?

I would assume the new account would just show as no profit or loss as it wouldn’t know what you bought them for originally.

Someone else please correct that if I’m wrong.

When you transfer you usually get the option to include your average buy price for that stock, so in theory it will still show the overall P&L

That’s only if you were to sell, the whole idea of an in specie transfer is that the asset is transferred so you still own the 2000 shares and have not been disadvantaged in anyway by being out of the market.
