What is a Coinbase Bundle?

The Coinbase Bundle is a selection of the five digital currencies supported on Coinbase, purchased in proportion to their USD market capitalization. The Bundle will consist of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ethereum Classic in different ratios based on the market capitalization and price at the time of purchase.

How are Coinbase Bundle allocations determined ?

The Bundle allocation for each of the five digital currencies is calculated based on the price of each currency multiplied by the supply of the currency in circulation at the time of the transaction.

I’ve got the option to use Bundle’s already, via https://www.coinbase.com/bundles/coinbase-bundle.

Strange!

Funnily enough, I was sort of replicating this - buying an equal value of each cryptocurrency, just to make it easy to see the relative change in price. But the proportion of the cryptocurrency in bundle is weighted by the total market value of each asset, for some reason, which looks like this right now -

so they’re not much use for me anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s closer to their https://am.coinbase.com/index but you don’t get the same rebalancing due to regulations and that offering is only for accredited US investors.

I’m currently using a specific decentralized exchange platform (Totle.com) for equally weighted coins (just some fun really not serious money) they only support ERC-20 (which are ETH tokens though). It’s not that easy for noobies that don’t know how to handle wallet security.

How about now? :crossed_fingers:
