There was no way they were going to give that away today.
I thought his reply was that it wasnât even finalised
Were you watching the same thing. They literally mentioned it towards the end. The actual share price hasnât been decided yet.
I should have asked if there will be a share split, that would have given us a indication of the share price
I would like to thank the Freetrade Team for hosting the Zoom call for those of us who couldnât be at the office.
Much appreciated
they must have an indication from crowdcube of the demand
Confirmed here first, just over heard @Viktor say crowdfund investors WILL be getting a Freetrade NFT as a reward
ÂŁ300 tier gets you ÂŁ100 investment in Freetrade with ÂŁ200 used towards Ethereum gas fees to mint your NFT?
ETH gas fees are absurd right now, itâs why Iâve not lumped into the US constitution DAO. Anyway it doesnât have to be ETH. Could use Solana for example. Or an L2.
NFT is a unique digital artwork - or/and a record on a cryptocurrencyâs blockchain that represents pieces of digital media.
Anyone wanna summarise the event for the people who missed it?
Donât use the phrase âno mention whatsoeverâŠâ then
I was fortunate enough to to be given a guided tour of the new office by the lovely @Stalwar
Beer on tap @Freetrade_Team & @mynameisgeraint are often found here after having to moderate the community forum!
To the moon, well low earth orbit at least!
The curiosity room âŠ
The boardroom
This is where they keep the real life engineers, they asked me not to tap on the glass as theyâre all sleeping.
Can someone please post a recorded copy when available. Cheers
So strange why arenât the engineers chained to their desks?!
Now you mention it there was some chinking and shuffling while @Stalwar keep trying to tell me there wasnât âanything to look at down in the basementâ
Unfortunately wasnât able to make the AMA - but was keen to hear what the answer was regarding Crypto plans. Could someone provide a quick summary to this? Thanks
Itâs coming, they have worked out how itâll work but not sorted out the user journey. Theyâre working on it next week.
Taken from CrowdCube T&Câs:
Success Fee
The success fee aligns our long-term success to yours, so is only payable if you make a profit on your investment; there are no annual fees for the ongoing support we provide once youâve made an investment. If you make a return on your investment, youâll keep 95% of any profit, and weâll take a 5% fee for managing your investment over the years. If your investment doesnât make a profit, then there is no charge.
For example if you invest ÂŁ10,000 and receive a return of ÂŁ100,000, youâll receive your ÂŁ10,000 investment back, as well as 95% of the ÂŁ90,000 profit, which equates to ÂŁ95,500. Crowdcubeâs success fee would be ÂŁ4,500, which equates to 5% of the ÂŁ90,000 profit.
The success fee, which is sometimes also known as âcarryâ, covers all the work we undertake to manage your investment. This includes:
Liaising with companies to ensure you are kept up to date with key business updates, and where relevant, managing investor votes to ensure you have your say on important business decisions.
Managing pre-emption and follow-on rounds to ensure you can maintain your stake in the company and continue to fuel its growth.
Taking care of all the admin needed to receive a return on your investment when a business you have invested in exits, pays a dividend or sells shares via our secondary market (coming soon!).
Crowdcubeâs success fee only applies to profits made on investments in businesses that opened to investment on or after the 1st of April 2021.
@NeilB it looks like you were the only person at the meeting from your pics
