Post funding campaign comms always drop off a cliff. I’m not sure it’s typical of a cool off period or the fact they’ve already got your funding

Is the payments taken tommorow for this round?

Ahh I have nothing saying payments are due etc so if its the 15th I’ll guess it’s taken tommorow aka Monday as its a working day?

Yo I know I keep asking but when is the payment due? Mine says awaiting payment on crowd cube I was sure I read right after the Friday they would take a payment and they said make sure you have so and so payment in that account ready, but that’s been days and days now.
I don’t keep cash in that account until I need to payout.
Just checking if anyone has had their payments taken or know the exact date yet?
No money taken yet. Just says ‘up coming payment’ on my Crowdcube. I have no doubt they will take it soon.

I’ve not invested in this round, but the standard process with Crowdcube is that they send the cooling off email with the final date. Once this date has passed, at some point, they send out a notification saying that payment will be captured in 24 hours.
So, it might be worth checking to see if you have received the 24-hour fund capture email.
If the payment does fail/ doesn’t go through, it is possible to get them to take it again

Crowdcube update:
"As you are aware the cooling-off email has now expired. Crowdcube is still working hard to complete the Anti-Money Laundering checks on new investors.
We currently expect this to be completed by Monday 24th July. Crowdcube have sent a direct email to the investors needing to upload documents to pass their Anti-Money Laundering checks. If you have not received an email then no further action is required at this stage.
Crowdcube will send you a payment warning email letting you know when payment for your investment will be taken"

If Freetrade aren’t looking to update the interest earned on held cash, then the numbers going forward should be pretty impressive given the 5.25% Central bank rate.

Freetrade have added some money market ETFs, so I guess it depends on whether customers are using those to hold spare cash or not.
