[Crowdfunding šŸ”Ø] Evarvest

Soon going bust?

Why do you say that?

They have not released the app for a very long time (maybe they are idealisng the version…).I spoke with the CEO and COO in June last year… I would be surprised if they have achieved something big in the current sort of stealth mode.
You can see they removed the community page, presume not a healthy sign?
I dont know what is stopping people waiting for their release when there are so many ample propositions available to invest with and commission free on the market right now, and who besides Evarvest, are in a much more stronger position and capacity.

To me, its not going to see the light with all due respect. Even if it does, it will be short-lived.

They’re late on everything. Unable to raise although crowdfunding is in a boom phase at the moment and especially in this sector. The team have no or very little experience in the space but pretend otherwise. When the CEO founder with legal background argues that helping with property legal paperwork qualifies as financial markets experience, you can quickly understand they don’t know what they talk about. They were backed by dumb money that no longer wants to top up to continue the journey to nowhere. Smart money won’t touch them and they have been incapable of choosing the right NED(s) to guide them.

I offered to help with contacts and the CEO, instead or direct messaging me, asked me directly and publicly in the Seedrs forum which looked so desperate. Then, I did my own research and found out that, roughly at the beginning of their journey, they had passed on the best FinTech NED in London. Now, they seem to have contracted the wrong one and/or probably too late as they are having trouble to find a lead investor and they are not changing NED so not learning from their mistakes…

the CEO just started a new role, minus one player from the market which never saw the light.

Guess the market (app based brokerage) has gotten saturated and the barriers to entry have become excessive. It’s up to the current players now to seize the market share. It is all down to execution and who is delivering most value to clients. The train has departed… Seems unreasonable to invest in any new entrants in Europe if I am not missing anything.

Evarvest Limited is an appointed representative (FCA firm reference No. 928416) of WealthKernel Limited. WealthKernel Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference No. 723719).

This is relatively new. I think they are still giving it a shot.

on my linkedin saying she started at company called Einee as an advisor. If she is anything like Elon and can manage multiple ventures, well done, but if not, its clearly the end.

The weekly ā€˜What’s Going On?’ email they send out is quite interesting.

I didn’t get this. Assuming it’s not confidential, could you paste it here please?

Einee will clearly need advice for raising from someone else than her

Most or their articles on their website have 0-1 like! Can’t they and their friends even like their own articles?

Most of her articles are 3 paragraphs long and demonstrating a very superficial understanding of the topics she covers.

And seriously? Taking as an example the disaster Metro bank has become…:
ā€œMetro Bank, as an example, is the first challenger bank in the UK to gain a high street banking licence and was founded in 2010. Since then, they’ve already listed on the London Stock Exchange with revenues of over Ā£400 million in 2018. In comparison, Barclays bank was founded in 1690, 320 years earlier and only now has revenues of over Ā£21 billion in 2018.ā€

It’s because the former author of those emails has left Evarvest …

Looks like Compliance manager, head of PR, CMO and Community Manager gone too…
