Wish I had more money to invest - but I pledged 50 shares, yes I have more from previous rounds but heck why not.
All I’ve got left to do is let the family know that Christmas is cancelled
The first rule of thumb always invest more than you can afford
Any VC round in the next 6 months will be at the same price, in my opinion. Its probably why the valuation is so low.
That spells doom!
OK so now that I have shares who wants to buy them they must have at least went up a penny since 11am
When Draper invested in 2019 at same R5 valuation, I think it was announced 2m later
Typical, I forgot today was FT day, and was stuck driving in traffic at 11 and forgot all about it. However I did manage to navigate crowdcube and get a small amount invested.
I downloaded the CC app well over a year ago and FT is my first dabble into crowd funding.
Driving with no hands on the wheel and investing in freetrade is banned next year.
I think Freetrade averages about 6% growth a month compounded (assuming annual x2 growth), so wait a couple months then sell them for over £10.
Assuming all things being equal going forward.
Alongside this EUR 8m allocation for UK-based investors, there is an additional allocation available of EUR 8m available to investors in the EU and the rest of the world due to different regulations.
84,000+ page views on the pitch is one of the most exciting things to see. Appreciate that’s a lot of people probably clicking in and out, but that will turn out to be a whole load of new cheerleaders for the product
Hasn’t it already gone past 8m Euros? That’s about £6.7M…
if you click the invest button and put in a big number, e.g. £500,000 then it wont let you invest - it gives you a dropping maximum, so i am assuming it will close real soon
I thought the limit was 13m Euro?
OK, I’m a bit confused what the actual cap is
I think there are two caps, one for the UK and an overall one for Europe wide.
£8m UK and 8m (Euro) for EEA
– Can’t find my Euro currency key!
Does anyone know the answer to my question below?
If the pitch says 7 days until closing and you get an email giving 24hr notice of payment can I assume that means the min time it would come out is in 7 days with notice on the 6th? If it closes early as target hit etc they don’t ask for the money early do they?
Just wondering wether to add a cheeky extra bid.
Good question. Basically I need to get fund’s into my nominated bank account.
