Down Time Drivel

I believe it looks like a piece of cooked land manatee.

Happy New Year everyone.

Dont worry if you are seeing it in alone or feeling a bit low, you are not the only one and there is always hope for a better tomorrow.

Wish you all a prosperous (and much more importantly) happy 2025.

So far electric off Christmas day. Worried neighbour might not be able to cook my Christmas dinner. She would be so sad. Wasn’t off to long though. Off a lot longer on New years day…ended up reading a book!
Today the water is off mains burst nearby. I do of course have the choice of not living rural but the advantages I think outweigh the disadvantages…for me.

PS happy new year

Some pictures of my new toy. I know it’s over exposed but I quite like it and I didn’t know my settings when I stopped the video recording. I wqs to busy dealing with red wind warnings up that high and it was my second flight lol

So addicted to it now after losing my cheap drone pushing the height limits then I couldn’t see what was going on and I lost the little guy.

Best to fly the cheaper drones in the house and at a lower level their a blast but grt better drones for good footage and proper flying.

Even though its an entry level drone I got the DJI mini 4 Pro I’m very happy from the couple of flights I have had so fsr.

Amy many settings to play with endless in fact so much to learn and I bought the freewell 16 ND filter pack too so that’s another learning curve.

Anyways sorry for the story lol

Love the pics Kiava. Can see the appeal of the hobby. Its a view you couldn’t get otherwise without growing wings  (or paying for some.)

Enjoy the new toy. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks :), Yes it’s great fun although like I said the video doesn’t look like that because they both have their own independent settings hehe.

This was the little video clip I’m happy enough for a second go of it.

It was actully super windy up there I was getting red warnings lol that’s why the gimble smacked a few times on the footage but it did really well for a tiny drone.

Had anyone ever dreamed of just selling on the shares and travelling the world?
If you could go anywhere where would you go? I’d love to drive route 66 myself.

Driving 66 in an old cadillac sounds good to me.

Or walking the streets of Tokyo.

Sadly my investments wouldn’t get me across the irish sea just now lol (sold up for house deposit).

I have cycled highway 101/1
North South as the wind literally only blows one way on the west coast.

Good move. I have moved twice based on selling up putting the money into another house. Have plans to do it one more time…probably.

It’s always good to get on the property ladder I just don’t see how anyone can retire easily without owning their property, particularly now you can’t get pension credit anymore.

I never plan to own my own house but I have my reasons and getting new boilers rads heating kitchens showers etc has it’s perks.
