I like the brand, but it’s quite niche these days (and very expensive) as far as I can make out, in my unfashionable 40s.
Its a big name that will live on.
BUT, might go to zero first.

I didn’t think I would read all that but I did. Interesting and some comical remarks as well
I only seen this pop up because bob commented again. I used to hear that name growing up all the time.
We had to buy school shoes and this was when I went into tantrum mode because everyone else had the good school shoes and I felt like back in the day the word “tramp” and so would kick up a fuss because they didn’t suit me and looked so bad.
Doc martens were in the shop as well. The days I’m talking about are the penny black days :)))
Being older now and my mum being on her own I can see now why she struggled and she did manage to keep me on average and above average shoes and clothes while out playing so that I could fit in and be accepted as it was a major deal back then playing outside all the time.
Down Glasgow way this is. I’m not sure about the rest of the UK and how you were back in the day but I started to rebel when I grew up more and more and said fk society and fitting in lol.
From there I just try do my own thing.
Dammit bob you and Dr martens jogging back memories lol
Nice bit of nostalgia Kiava.
My family had no money either, although I did manage to get myself Doc Martens in my teenage school years. Probably spending Christmas money or something. They were great and very long lasting.
Yes it’s funny looking back in time eh, was it your pocket money. I remember getting £5 a week but can’t remember when it started
But we played football every night all night until our mums screamed from the schemes our names to get home for bed etc school lol, so most likely irn bru and sweets etc and a few bits milkshake, and we had amazing ice cream with melted marshmallow. A joke shop as well that was like Harry Potter with all the joke sweets and all the dress up etc and fun jokes.
Good times but in going off topic again this should go in down time dribbles lol
New lows. 90% down now?
You would expect this to happen to a small new company with incompetent directors like TM1 but for this sort of business it’s hard to believe.
The IPO con rolls on…
Hi all
What’s people’s thoughts on this business/brand/stock?
I’ve been watching this one for a while
Such a strong, iconic brand.
Just poor performance. Some debt. Dividends cut (though not entirely)
Wonder if it’s worth a small investment at these levels.
Well shares are a bargain atm, apart from that I would find something better to invest in. Waiting for the prices to significantly improve then I might liquidate once I break even.
I held onto DOCS for a while, didnt improve, and when it rose like a penny or two above my purchase price, I sold. Stock then tanked.
Agree it’s such an iconic brand, one which appears to be badly managed.
Just to annoy you, it’s gone up even more
