Yep, not received it as yet either. Along with another I’m waiting on. Must be the bank holidays slowing things down…….

who knows whats gonna happen, its a risky one, merger or sell off? Testing times.

So, got the dividend but it didn’t have any withheld tax. Sent a message via the in-app chat, but 5 days on they still haven’t bothered to read it.
Anyone else get their divi without the tax?

What tax are you talking about ?

I’m assuming what’s being talked about in the posts around this one of mine, the fact that 20% is supposedly “reclaimed” by FreeTrade, but perhaps isn’t after all!

Yes, this instrument is a REIT/PID so subject to 20% withholding tax. This usually appears on the dividend notice but this time I’ve been paid the full amount. It’s easier than the shoddy reclaiming procedure mentioned above, but probably an error on FTs part

The latest dividend paid by the company appears to be a non-PID dividend, so I’m not sure that the 20% withholding would apply in that instance?

Just seen on the companies website that they are selling to realty corp and plan to liquidate the reit by the end of the year.

Is that a good thing or will it drop even more

Good job as i believe they were thinking of doing 30 for 1 share consolidation!

Just my luck
Company liquidated. Ill lose value in sell off

Just as I was enjoying the monthly income
Oh well a small return on original investment is some consolation I guess.

Yes indeed

What’s news today?

Just got my payment from the liquidation but FT added it as a dividend which totally messes with my totals. A sell order would have been better/cleaner?

Fortunately came away with a small profit today. Great run of monthly divs while it lasted.

Thankfully in my case shares held in an ISA so no tax to pay. Otherwise would have wiped out my allowance if held in a general holding account
